Holiday Lights

Due to budget constraints, the Town can not manage the cost of illuminating the Common during the holiday season. Community organizations, businesses and private individuals are stepping up to preserve the traditional holiday lights. So far, the Memory Tree and the Brownie Tree are almost funded! More is needed to turn on the other lights this year. If you would like to contribute, please send a check made out to the Town of Topsfield Recreation Committee Gift Fund to:

Veterans' Memorial Green Dedicated

On Saturday, November 7, the Veterans Memorial Green on Topsfield's Common was dedicated. Main Street and the Park and Cemetery Department honor our veterans with this project that bring together in one place the monuments commemorating Topsfield's veterans' service to our country. In addition a monument honoring Lt. Lawson, Topsfield resident, who lost his life in Vietnam was dedicated and the "Great Wars" memorial was rededicated. New landscaping and repositioned benches make the Green a peaceful oasis in the heart of our town.

Topsfield Playground Committee
