Sponsorship
Opportunities
In
order to keep downtown Topsfield in bloom and looking festive, we need additional
support. For example, funds are needed to fill the beautiful
planters along Main Street.
Opportunities
for sponsoring Main Street projects are listed here:
The more
than 15 planters, which change 3 times during a calendar year to reflect the season, are lovingly cared for by Terri Dwinell of Holiday
Tree Farm on Salem Road. To cover the cost of maintaining
the planters throughout the year, sponsors adopt a planter
for $250/annum. This sponsorship includes the cost of a sign,
which not only enhances the plantings but credits sponsors with
their donation.

- Veterans' Memorial
Triangle
In an
appropriate tribute to Topsfield residents who fought to preserve
our freedoms, the common in front of the library is being redesigned
to gather all of the war memorials in one location. Benches
will be rearranged to provide an area for reflection. Enhancements
will be added to create a space that demonstrates our pride.
Residents may adopt-a-shrub to help show their
support for this project. What a wonderful way to honor a
veteran.
In a
town where walking is a cherished activity, we need to create
safe areas for travel. One of the town's most beautiful
locations is near the Ipswich River. The Main Street Foundation,
in collaboration with the Topsfield Highway Department and the
Topsfield Tree Committee, is adding a path where the sidewalk
ends to make navigation through this area safe and comfortable.
In addition to enhancing the beauty of this thoroughfare, this
important project will protect our residents and, particularly,
our children. Residents may adopt-a-tree to
contribute to this project.
