EXPO 2008-A Community Comes Together

In an effort to support a partnership of government, business and the community-at-large, the Topsfield Main Street Foundation has developed the EXPO, a bi-annual event that brings Topsfield residents together to promote community spirit, to educate citizens about how non-profit organizations and town departments and committees benefit our town, and to recruit volunteers for town boards and committees and for local organizations. In 2008, the priorities were to demonstrate that Topsfield is a good place to do business by showcasing every registered business in a complimentary directory and to attract families with children at home by offering special events for the youngest residents of our town. The EXPO is scheduled for late March so that issues expected to generate discussion at the May Town Meeting can be explored.
