Veterans' Memorial civil war monumentTriangle Project Begins

Main Street and the Park and Cemetery Department honor our veterans with this project that will bring together in one place the monuments commemorating Topsfield's veterans' service to our country. Work commenced on Wednesday, November 12th when the Park and Cemetery Department, with the assistance of Hugh Collins, Kimball Memorials, Matt Boyle, the Topsfield Veteran's Agent and the Main Street Foundation, moved the monument in tribute to veterans of both World Wars to the Triangle and installed opposite that monument a new stone that will receive the Vietnam War memorial plaque.

At a time when most Americans are searching for ways to "support our troops", this improved public space will allow citizens to pay tribute to veterans right in our own backyard.

South Main Street Beautification Project

Over the next few years, The Topsfield Main Street Foundation, in cooperation with the Highway Department, neighbors and many Topsfield organizations, will be working to improve the frontage along South Main Street from Route 1 to Maple Street. A central new feature is a walking path to address safety concerns for all pedestrians.
